Conclusion:
Impact On Individuals And Society

Failure to diagnose Trump Derangement Syndrome has caused individuals suffering from TDS to experience mental and physical deterioration. Lives have been upended as sufferers are obsessed with acting out in some way to foil Trump, and the stress has been taking a toll on their bodies, as well. Relationships with loved ones, friends, and workplace colleagues have been strained and broken. These people, who have borne the brunt of those with TDS, have been hurt. Yet, they are considered collateral damage by TDS sufferers, and are sometimes called ‘deplorables’ for resistance to their negative beliefs about Trump.
Trump Derangement Syndrome has not only led to political and personal divisiveness, it has led to family breakdown, institutional breakdown, lawfare, protests and uncontrollable violence. People with TDS have gone beyond political disagreement to boisterously embrace conspiracy theories, from alleging Trump colluded with Russia to alleging he tried to overturn his loss in the 2020 election by commandeering the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Though his second term is only in its first year, there are already impeachment plots being hatched.
Trump Derangement Syndrome has even affected international relations, since American media reach across the globe and reflect TDS behavior. This encourages other countries to copy the disrespect and rebelliousness of Americans afflicted with this syndrome, and endangers our security.
Indeed, America has begun a descent into the politics of third world countries, whose leaders get assassinated. At the time of this writing, there have been at least five publicly confirmed, nearly-successful attempted assassinations of President Trump and other attempts that have been foiled. There are also ongoing threats, including many copycats inspired by news reports, that are overwhelming the FBI, Homeland Security and Secret Service. Even Terrorist leaders are calling for the assassination of President Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance and other top officials.
According to recent studies, America has gone from ‘Cancel Culture’ to
‘Assassination Culture’. Following the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt on President Trump, tolerance – and even advocacy - for such political violence has surged. Thoughts of assassination have become normalized and justified. In one study, for example, 38% of respondents indicated that it would be at least somewhat justified to murder President Trump.
In conclusion, the contagion is spreading and we are sitting on a powder keg. So, it’s time for leaders – including President Trump, himself – to demand psychiatric accountability and treatment for those whose obsessive hatred endangers themselves or others.

Therefore, the ‘diagnoses’ should not be considered as authoritative, official or conclusive, and should not be used to target or cause any harm to such individuals.)
